Haidakhan Temple is a must visit place when you are at
Ranikhet. Once you are here you will feel true peace as a visitor from Mumbai

The construction of this Ashram and temple was began by
Babaji in the late 1970s and completed by early 1980s. This ashram is known as
Anand Puri Ashram. This temple at Chilianaula, Ranikhet not only commands a majestic
and almost surrealistic view of the Himalayas, it is also vibrant with a high
rate of divine pulsation, second only to the core temple at the main Haidakhan
ashram.

The main ashram is located at Haidakhan Village near
Haldwani and this ashram is known as Haidakhan Viswa Mahadham Ashram. The
babaji was named as Haidakhan babaji because according to the “The Teachings of
Babaji” Haidakhan Babaji appeared in June 1970 in a cave near to a remote
village named Haidakhan. According to the followers Haidakhan Babaji is a mahavatar
– “A human Manifestaion of God, not born form women.”

Haidakhan Babaji Died in the year 1984 and buried in
Haidakhan Ashram.
Haidakhan Babaji are having several devotees not only from
India but also from western countries. At the ashram you can see people of
western culture wearing sarees and dhoti kurta to do prayer.
Haidakhan Babaji maintained that: “All religions are
incorporated in the principle of Truth, Simplicity and Love.”
Haidakhan Babaji emphasized constant repetition of the Manta
“Om Namah Shivaya”, “I surrender to God”, and selfless service to mankind.
This place is really a wonderful place to visit and one of
the best attraction of Ranikhet. One can get enchanting panoramic view of
Himalayas including Nanda Devi, Panchachuli, Trishul Parwat, Chaukhambha Peak
etc. It is an ideal place for rejuvenating and invigorating you from the
regular hustling and bustling of the hectic city life.

A beautiful gate welcomes you and when you enter the
premises you will find lord Shiva giving you the blessings. In front of the
Temple a medium size beautifully carved Nandi bull can be seen which is
perfectly painted white. In the premises you will also see a statue of Lord
Hanuman.
People of western countries have deep faith in our culture
and traditions and this faith and believe in babaji’s teaching pull them to this
sacred place.

The celebration of Navratras at the Temple is the center of
attraction of this place. Navaratri is celebrated with great enthusiasm here
with yagnas on all the 9 days. Satsang of bhajans happen every evening during
the Aarti and people start dancing on their own.
Every year on the day of Dussehara, Mahayajna of Goddess
Jagdamba is organised and foreign devotees tie the knots witnessing the holy
fire. Also the newly married couple is also go through Hindu Naming ceremony. Since
1980’s thousands of foreigners got married according to Hindu Tradition.

Several devotees from Canada, Japan, America, Spain, Bulgaria, Germany, France,
Italy, Russia take part in the Navratras Celebration. Till now more than thousand
foreigner couples got married here according to Hindu tradition.
Not only Foreigners but also some famous Celebrities are the devotees of Babaji. The family of Priyanka Chopra is visiting the Haidakhan babaji temple every year in Navratras from past 24 years, Priyanka Chopda visited this temple twice.
Legend of Bollywood Shammi Kapoor was also the devotee of Haidakhan Baba. He was so much attached with this temple that his son Nikki Kapoor got married in this temple in 1982.
Central Minister Late. Rajesh Pilot was one of the devotee of Babaji. He also visiter this temple several times. Also he inaugurated the Shree Baba Haidakhan Charitable and Research Hospital.
